Get in touch with your creative side! Workshops and classes on a whim are held on the garden patio in good weather or inside in the creative nook behind the shop when it's too cold, wet or windy to enjoy the fresh air. Workshops will be posted online and require advanced registration. Classes on a Whim will be announced when they pop up and you can stop in any point during the day to participate.

Class on a Whim: Whimsical Wire Heart Plant Stake

These whimsical wire heart plant stakes are just what you and your plants need. In this workshop you’ll be learning some basic wire forming techniques as you shape your heart and fill it in with colored wire of your choice. Be Valentine’s Day inspired and chose red, pink or white or perhaps the best color that reminds you spring will be here soon. Whichever you chose you’ll enjoy it for many seasons to come.
Your finished plant stake will be approximately 14 inches tall by 2 to 3 1/2 inches wide depending on the shape you chose.

Create with me a lovely bouquet of vintage button flowers. Tell me, who can resist sorting through all those shapes and colors on a cold winter's day? You’ll certain to find yourself relaxing as you finish each flower, dreaming of that first warm day of spring.
When you’ve finished you’ll have a bouquet of 5 flowers to decorate your home or give as a unique gift. An assortment of small bottles and vases are available for purchase in the shop if you don’t already have one.
